Provide your cat with protection against the most common types of worms with one single treatment. Milbemax cat dewormer is a convenient option to get rid of various worm species and support your cat’s gastrointestinal health. It is suitable for cats aged at least 6 weeks, and weighing at least 1.1 lbs. (0.5 kg).
With the combination of milbemycin oxime and praziquantel, these tablets treat and control various stages of worms. These beef-flavored tablets are easy to administer and may be ideal for cats that are not comfortable with messy topical treatments. This oral treatment may be used in breeding, pregnant and lactating cats.
Milbemax for Cats Coverage
When administered as directed, Milbemax oral worming treatment provides wide parasite coverage. It:
Treats and controls adult and immature stages of hookworms and roundworms
Treats and controls tapeworm infection
Prevents heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis)
How Does Milbemax for Cats Work?
Milbemax for Cats contains a combination of two active ingredients: Milbemycin oxime and praziquantel. Milbemycin oxime causes paralysis in gastrointestinal nematodes (e.g., hookworms, roundworms), leading to their subsequent expulsion. Praziquantel, on the other hand, causes muscle contraction in cestodes (e.g., tapeworms), leading to their expulsion or death.

Seresto Collar for Cats: Long-lasting Flea and Tick Protection
Seresto Collar for Cats comes in handy when you are looking for a flea and tick treatment that lasts for a long time. Elanco states that this collar is stocked in over 8000 vet clinics and is widely recommended by veterinarians for the prevention of fleas and ticks in cats and kittens aged 10 weeks or older. Suitable for your fussy eater’s irritation-free treatment, Seresto is non-greasy and odorless. It considers your cat’s comfort and features a two-way release mechanism for stress-free fitting and breakaway safety. With a unique polymer matrix technology, it ensures your cat’s protection against fleas and ticks for 8 continuous months.
Seresto Cat Collar coverage
Seresto collar offers up to 8 months of protection against flea and tick infestations to cats and kittens. This easy-to-apply, wearable treatment:
Repels and kills fleas before they lay eggs, including:
Fleas which may cause Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) or Flea Bite Hypersensitivity (FBH)
Fleas that may transmit bartonellosis, tapeworm infections, feline infectious anemia, and rickettsiosis
Repels and kills ticks, including:
Deer ticks, American dog ticks, brown dog ticks, and lone star ticks
Ticks that may transmit Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, cytauxzoonosis, ehrlichiosis, and babesiosis
How does the Seresto Collar for Cats work?
Seresto flea and tick collar for cats contains two active ingredients: Flumethrin and imidacloprid. The polymer matrix technology used in Seresto makes sure that both these ingredients are slowly and continuously released from the collar and stay present on the cat during the entire 8-month efficacy period.
The ingredients spread from the site of direct contact over the cat’s skin surface and kill fleas and ticks through contact, so parasites do not need to bite the cat to be affected. After 24 hours of application, new fleas are killed within 2 hours. After the initial 48 hours of application, new ticks are repelled and/or killed in as quickly as 6 hours.
