Frontline Plus for Dogs: Monthly Topical Flea and Tick Treatment
Frontline Plus is a fast-acting and long-lasting topical parasite treatment for dogs and puppies aged 8 weeks and above, and weighing at least 5 lbs. It has been trusted by pet parents for years for the protection of their dogs against fleas and ticks. This monthly treatment is also effective against chewing lice and sarcoptic mange/mites infestations. Frontline Plus waterproof formula keeps working even if your dog gets wet (dogs should stay dry for 24 hours after application).
Frontline Plus coverage
Frontline Plus topical solution for dogs is convenient and easy to use. When applied monthly as directed, it:
Kills fleas, flea eggs and flea larvae and prevents all flea stages (eggs, larvae, pupae) from developing
Kills fleas, which may cause Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD)
Kills all life stages of ticks (larva, nymph and adult), including brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks, and deer ticks
Kills ticks that may transmit Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, haemobartonellosis, ehrlichiosis, babesiosis, anaplasmosis, and other tick-borne diseases
Eliminates chewing lice infestations
Aids in control of sarcoptic mange infestations
How does Frontline Plus work?
Frontline Plus contains fipronil and (S)-methoprene. These powerful ingredients spread from the single point of application and cover the dog’s entire coat. The ingredients localize in the hair, on the surface of the skin, and continuously get replenished onto the skin and coat. Parasites come into contact with the treated dog, and are killed quickly. Fleas and ticks do not have to bite your dog in order to die.
