Instructions To Use Frontline Plus

• Remove the applicator from the package.
• Hold the applicator upright and snap off the tip.
• Part the hair on the back of your dog's neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible.
• Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and squeeze to apply the entire contents directly to the skin.
• Avoid contact with treated area until dry.
• Repeat monthly for continuous protection.
• For small and medium dogs, apply solution only on a single spot.
• For larger dogs, apply the formula on 4-5 spots preferably between the shoulder blades up to the base of the tail.

Dosage:

• Do NOT use on cats.
• Store in a cool place as it is a highly inflammable product.
• Take veterinarian’s advice before treating aged, injured, or debilitated dogs.
• Keep away from children. If swallowed immediately, contact poison control center.
• Keep away from pet’s eyes. If it enters, the pet’s eyes then flush with lots of water.

Instructions To Use Heartgard Plus

• Weigh your dog and get the suitable pack of Heartgard Plus Chews.
• Remove one chewable from the foil-backed blister card.
• Offer the chew to your dog by hand.
• Encourage your dog to chew it rather than swallow it without chewing.
• You may also break the chew into pieces and feed it.
• Alternatively, it can be added intact to a small amount of dog food to encourage chewing.
• Observe your pet for several minutes to ensure they consume the complete dose at one time.
• If you suspect that the dose has been lost, re-dosing is recommended.
• Give the chew once a month on or about the same day of the month.
• When replacing another heartworm preventive, give the first dose of Heartgard Plus within 30 days of the last dose of the former preventive.

Packaging:

• Heartgard Plus Chews are available in three different packs for convenient, weight-appropriate dosage.
• The packs are color-coded for easier identification.

Dosing Schedule:

• This chew is not for human use. Use it only for your dog.
• It should be kept out of reach of children.
• If an accidental ingestion by humans happens, immediately consult a physician.

Precautions

• The dog should be tested for existing heartworm infection before starting to use Heartgard Plus.
• It is not effective against adult heartworms, so infected dogs must be treated to remove the adult heartworms and microfilariae before giving Heartgard Plus.

Storage

• Store between 68°F - 77°F (20°C - 25°C). Excursions between 59°F - 86°F (15°C - 30°C).
