How does Credelio for Dogs work?
Credelio contains lotilaner, an ectoparasiticide that causes uncontrolled neuromuscular activity in parasites, leading to their death. In studies conducted by Elanco, Credelio began to kill fleas within 4 hours after administration and showed high efficacy against adult fleas 12 hours after administration or infestation. It also showed high efficacy against various species of ticks 48 hours after administration or infestation.

Directions for use:
ParaGard Tablets for Dogs are available in three different packs for convenient, weight-appropriate dosage. Weigh your dog and get the pack that is suitable for their size.
Remove the tablet from the blister pack.
Offer this single-dose treatment directly as a treat to your dog or crush it and put it on your dog’s food.
For puppies: Treat according to the weight at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks. Thereafter, treat every 3 months.
For adult dogs: Treat every 3 months.
Breeding dogs: Treat during the mating period, during the gestation period, one week before birth, and 3 to 4 weeks after birth.
Dogs in hydatid areas should be treated every 6 weeks.
Where whipworm is a problem, treat every 6 – 8 weeks after 3 months of age.
Do not feed or allow your dog to feed on offal from any species.
Fleas are intermediate hosts for tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum). Effective flea control is recommended to reduce the incidence of tapeworms.
