All-In-One Parasite Control Solution

NexGard Combo is a spot-on flea, tick, ear mite, roundworm, and tapeworm parasiticide that is marketed as the first and only broad-spectrum parasiticide for cats. The new treatment offers flea protection for one month and tick protection for five weeks against Ixodesricinus, the most prevalent tick on cats. Roundworms, Toxocaracati and Toxascarisleonina, hookworms, tapeworms, vesical worms, and ear mites are also treated.

Effective for Cats and Kittens

\n\n\n\n

NexGard Combo is safe to use in kittens as young as eight weeks old and weighs 0.8 kg, giving it a good choice for most kittens’ first immunization. It comes in two sizes: small for kittens measuring 0.8 to 2.5 kg and large for adult cats weighing 2.5 to 7.5 kg. For cats weighing 7.5kg or more, a suitable combination of applicators should be used.

Eliminates both Internal & External Parasites

The active components in NexGard Combo target external and internal parasites in different ways.

Esafoxolaner is an ectoparasiticide that eliminates parasites that live on or in a cat’s skin, fur, or ear. It causes uncontrolled nervous system activity and death by disrupting the way messages pass between the parasite’s nerve cells (neurotransmission). Fleas and ticks are eradicated within 24 and 48 hours, respectively, after administration. Esafoxolaner kills fleas before they lay eggs, reducing infections in the home.

Endoparasiticides such as praziquantel and eprinomectin kill parasites that live inside the body of a cat. Praziquantel causes tapeworms to die by destroying their cell membranes. Eprinomectin interacts with roundworm nerve and muscle cells, paralyzing and killing them.
